Our Services
Chiropractic Care
Dr. Heather utilizes the best industry treatments tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Dr. Heather is experienced and skilled in a wide range of different treatment modalities including Torque Release Technique, Activator and uses the table’s drop pieces. She will diagnose the cause of your ailment so we can find just the right remedy and solution to restore your health and wellbeing.

This type of chiropractic goes far beyond providing relief from back and neck pain. By improving your nervous system function individuals experience many benefits including improved emotional wellbeing.
Thermal Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal. The effects of laser energy include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Tantalus Wellness use a class IV laser which ensures maximum effectiveness.
Custom Fit Orthotics
Custom-fit orthotics are beneficial for many musculoskeletal conditions.
The most commonly encountered foot condition seen by Chiropractor’s is overpronation. With this condition the arch of the foot collapses (or falls) inward causing the leg to rotate or twist. This can lead to pain throughout the kinetic chain in the knee, hip and back and can even cause more far reaching effects such as shoulder pain, neck pain and headaches.
Orthotics can also be helpful for other conditions such as; plantar fascitis, bunions, shin splints and neuromas.
Custom-fit orthotic appointments involve a thorough analysis of foot and spine biomechanics as well as gait.
X-Rays
Tantalus Chiropractic and Wellness has onsite x-ray facilities. Our chiropractic x-ray unit is a state-of-the-art digital unit, which does not require chemicals or film, reducing our impact on the environment. Additionally, the unit has advanced sensors, narrower beaming and special filters to ensure that the radiation exposure is much less than traditional x-ray units. During your initial exam, it is determined whether or not x-rays are required.
At Tantalus Chiropractic, we:
- Take only the most necessary views
- Use the most up-to-date equipment
- Protect sensitive body parts with lead shielding
- Maintain regular equipment inspection and licensing
X-rays enable your chiropractor to see if there are any stress points present in your spine or any joint dysfunctions. X-rays may help identify potential problems, such as arthritis and disc degeneration in their early stages, before they become more complex and advanced. To get the most accurate pictures, we take x-ray views showing your body in a weight-bearing position (standing up). This will help the chiropractor see your spine in its most natural state.
